Jamie Anderson Directing

Director's Vision

"I believe in breaking down barriers and finding the universal truth in every story, no matter how absurd the circumstances."

From Mississippi to Hollywood

Born in Mississippi and raised in Orlando, I moved to Los Angeles at 19 to pursue acting, building a 22-year foundation with credits including "Catch Me If You Can" (Steven Spielberg), "Modern Family", and "The Shield".

This extensive acting background gives me a unique "actor's director" perspective—I understand the vulnerability required for truthful performances and create environments where actors feel safe to take risks.

Today, I write and direct stories that explore the human condition through a lens of comedy, dramedy, and social commentary, turning the painful into the absurd with passion, depth, and heart. My work has been recognized with four Telly Awards and over 50 festival selections globally.
